To support our growth, we are on the hunt for a dynamic Merchandiser to complement our existing team. The pace is fast, fun and collaborative, so you will need to bring a solid commercial awareness and a methodical approach in managing correct stock levels, whilst being able to think on your feet.
You will be responsible for the creation and execution of own product categories strategies through planning and trading the business. Managing required stock levels and curating premium and profitable product ranges in line with Neptune brand values.
You will also contribute to the ongoing development of the merchandising team, inspiring them to achieve their best and leading them to success. In the world of merchandising at Neptune, you will support with curating a product range that will deliver against our planned sales growth by:
- Setting up WSSI's prior to the start of the season with Sales, Stock, Margin, Intake/OTB Plans, by category
- Managing department markdowns, margins and closing stocks, ensuring maximum profitability
- Maintaining and updating weekly sales, stock and intake on a weekly basis and highlighting any risks
