Our Finance team are now seeking an Accounts Assistant to join them, supporting the day-to-day operation of the department and playing an important role in the smooth running of our financial operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in finance within a growing retail business, gaining exposure across multiple areas of the finance function while building valuable accounting experience.

Within this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Reconciling daily sales and cash takings from our retail stores and online channels.
  • Investigating and resolving variances between sales systems and financial records.
  • Supporting stock and inventory reconciliations where required.
  • Assisting with month-end processes, including journals, reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Preparing schedules and supporting information for management.
