At Neptune, delivering a beautifully designed home is about more than great products - it's about making sure every order runs smoothly behind the scenes. We are looking for an Operations Support Supervisor to lead the rhythm of the Warehouse Support team - bringing clarity, structure and momentum to the day-to-day, while developing a capable, confident team around you. You'll set the standard, lead by example and ensure everything works as it should, quietly and effectively. You'll oversee the operational Support function, ensuring systems, people and processes are aligned and performing. From supporting the use of our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to maintaining accurate inventory and producing meaningful reports, your work will underpin the smooth running of the wider operation.
Alongside this, you will:
- Lead, support and manage the Operations Support team on a day-to-day basis
- Train colleagues on the effective use of WMS and monitor its performance across the business
- Coach and develop team members, identifying training needs and supporting growth
- Liaise with IT to ensure systems integrate smoothly and function as intended
- Assign and adapt workloads to meet daily demands, long-term goals and KPIs
- Oversee inventory control processes, including cycle counts and stock accuracy
- Work cross-functionally to resolve issues relating to inventory, shipping and customer service
- Ensure appropriate team cover during busy periods and absences
- Produce regular reports aligned with departmental and company KPIs
- Maintain high standards of health and safety across all activities
You'll lead and develop the Operations Support team, creating an environment where people can do their best work. You'll also work closely with IT and other departments to ensure systems connect seamlessly and issues are resolved with pace and care. Adaptability matters here. You'll balance immediate priorities with longer-term objectives, adjusting workloads and responsibilities as needed to meet demand and deliver against KPIs. At all times, you'll keep standards high - whether that's accuracy in stock control, consistency in reporting, or adherence to health and safety.
Who we are looking for:
You'll have experience in warehouse operations and a strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). You're comfortable with tools like Excel, Word and Outlook, and quick to learn new systems when needed. You're organised and thoughtful in how you work - able to prioritise, meet deadlines and keep multiple moving parts aligned. Just as importantly, you're proactive. You spot opportunities to improve and act on them. You communicate clearly, pay attention to detail and work well with others. You take ownership, support your team and approach challenges with a positive, solutions-focused mindset. You'll be calm, capable and quietly driven. Someone who values precision, takes pride in getting things right, and is always looking for a better way. A team player who leads with integrity and builds trust through actions.
Benefits we can offer you:
- Generous Holiday Allowance
- Life Assurance
- Company sick pay
- Purchased Annual Leave Scheme
- Enhanced maternity and paternity leave
- Cycle to work scheme
- Generous new item and outlet discounts
- Discounted gym membership
- Competitive salary
- Perkbox: Wellbeing Hub and Retail Discounts Portal
- Your birthday day off
- Day off if you become a Grandparent
- Two paid volunteer days a year
- A week off to celebrate a life event
- Refer a friend scheme
- Long service holiday allowance increase
- Training Workshops
