We're looking for a conceptual Graphic Designer to join our busy marketing team - someone who'll thoughtfully create inspiring marketing material that is relevant and considered, capturing the essence of what we do in a way that resonates with our customers.
You'll guide each project from concept through to completion, ensuring everything is delivered with care, clarity and attention to detail. Responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering conceptual print and digital materials across both print and digital channels, from initial concept through to final artwork including brand design, brochure design, direct mail, POS, advertising dispatch, large format graphics.
- Working closely with our print partners to explore techniques and finishes, print specifications and quoting, manage timelines, and ensure every detail is carefully considered.
- Collaborating with copywriters to create work that feels cohesive, with messaging and tone of voice that truly reflect our brand.
- Confidently sharing rationales behind your designs, with a clear and considered approach to creative decisions.
- Balancing creativity with an understanding of budgets and deadlines, ensuring work is delivered with care and precision.
- Keeping a close eye on our customers and the wider creative landscape, with a natural curiosity for what feels relevant now and what's to come.
- Managing your own time and projects with a calm, organised approach, ensuring everything stays on track.
We're looking for someone with proven past experience and a considered portfolio demonstrating a strong eye for detail and layout. You'll be confident presenting your ideas and talking through your thinking. A good understanding of brand is important, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, depending on what the project calls for.
You'll be self-motivated and comfortable working to deadlines, that can sometimes change, with a calm, organised approach and a natural attention to detail. Strong time management will help you balance multiple projects, while maintaining accuracy and care in everything you do. A confident working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud is essential, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. We'd also like to hear from you if you bring experience in retail design, along with an interest for illustration and video editing. A strong visual eye and a thoughtful approach to storytelling will really help you thrive in this role.
