We are now looking for a Store Designer to join our team, helping us shape retail spaces that bring the Neptune way of living to life.
This is a hands-on collaborative role for an Interior Design or Interior Architecture graduate, with previous experience in Auto CAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Excel and Word and a strong technical expertise including M&E coordination and construction details.
You'll be someone who loves thoughtful design, enjoys seeing ideas become reality, and understand how space influences how people feel.
You'll primary role will be to design new Neptune Stores and seasonally update the exiting store network in line the latest seasonal aesthetic.
Working closely with colleagues across Design, Merchandising and Visual Merchandising, you'll help every space feel unmistakably Neptune from first sketch to final detail, ensuring commercial performance, brand consistency and technical excellence.
This role involves regular travel to UK stores, with some overnight stays.
Occasional international travel may also be required, depending on project needs.
Responsibilities include
- Taking ownership of the end-to-end design and delivery of Neptune spaces, shaping beautiful and considered environments across our UK, international, franchise and wholesale stores.
- Leading the design journey for each space, from the first concept through to completion, ensuring every store reflects our brand guidelines while embracing the spirit of each season.
- Creating detailed design plans and specifications that guide the entire build process - from early structural and technical planning through to the final wall finishes, furniture placement and accessory styling.
- Working closely with our Merchandising team to understand store performance, thoughtfully refining layouts and design details to enhance both productivity and the customer experience.
- Collaborating with our Visual Merchandising team to ensure design intent and in-store presentation work seamlessly together.
- Bringing seasonal direction to life in store, developing designs that reflect the creative vision set by our Head of Store Design.
- Visiting our stores regularly across the UK to see spaces first-hand and support projects, with occasional overnight stays and some international travel when required.
We're looking for someone who has 3 years' experience in a similar role and someone who brings creativity and initiative to everything they do, with a natural ability to think beyond the expected and shape thoughtful, inspiring spaces.
A genuine empathy for the Neptune brand is essential - an instinctive understanding of what makes our homes feel warm, timeless and beautifully considered.
You'll be highly organised, with the drive and enthusiasm to see ideas through from concept to completion, while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
