b Overview /b p In this role you will optimise the use of technical assets for European business units, enhancing visibility and reducing external subhire. You will coordinate cross-border equipment movements, balance project needs with commercial value, and escalate unresolved issues to ECAM. You’ll partner with local and regional teams to develop practical asset solutions and drive data-quality improvements. This position offers a pivotal role in aligning asset availability with group priorities and ensuring efficient, compliant operations. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Secure internal assets for projects before external subhire /li li Review demand, availability and timelines to identify shortages and priorities /li li Coordinate short-term and cross-border equipment movements with local asset teams /li li Assess long-term relocation options based on availability, transport cost, utilisation and delivery requirements /li li Challenge subhire requests and compare internal vs external options, recording savings or cost avoidance /li li Support supplier reviews and maintain the European supplier list /li li Keep up to date with market/technical developments to inform purchase recommendations /li li Promote accurate use of rental systems and data standards across Europe /li li Monitor incomplete/incorrect project and asset information and drive corrective actions /li li Identify recurring issues, utilisation opportunities and potential strategic redeployments /li li Maintain clear records and provide concise operational reporting to ECAM /li li Build relationships across Operations, Technical, Commercial, Project and Asset teams /li li Share best practices and support new systems/workflows across Europe /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Experience in asset management, operations, logistics or live-events environment /li li Working knowledge of professional video, audio, lighting, rigging or related equipment /li li Strong commercial judgement: evaluating cost, margin and utilisation /li li Analytical, organized and confident solving problems in fast-moving contexts /li li Ability to influence and collaborate across teams, countries and cultures /li li Proficient with rental management systems, reporting tools and Microsoft Office /li li Clear written and verbal English; other European languages a plus /li li Willingness and ability to travel across Europe /li /ul ul li Attention to detail /li li Organisation /li li Initiative /li li Rental management systems /li li Reporting tools /li li Microsoft Office /li /ul
