We’re partnering with a growing consulting firm supporting a major pharmaceutical manufacturing transformation programme in the US. This is a hands-on delivery role with immediate responsibility — not a back-office consulting position.
The Role
- Leading on-site operational excellence initiatives (5S, SMED, Kanban, VSM)
- Managing and developing a small team of consultants already embedded on-site
- Driving performance improvement across plant operations
- Acting as a key interface with senior client stakeholders
- Delivering measurable efficiency and productivity gains
Why This Role Stands Out
- Immediate impact – step into an active project with delivery responsibility from day one
- Real operational exposure – work directly within manufacturing plants, not just strategy
- Clear progression – opportunity to help build and lead a US Lean / OpEx capability
- Strong project visibility – 12+ month programme with growth potential
- Travel covered – accommodation and expenses fully supported
What We’re Looking For
- 5–10 years’ experience in consulting or operational improvement roles
- Background from leading consulting firms (e.g. Accenture, Big 4, or similar)
- Proven delivery of Lean / operational excellence programmes in industrial or manufacturing environments
- Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred)
- Experience in pharma, chemicals, or other regulated manufacturing environments is advantageous
- Strong stakeholder management and team leadership capability
