NEOS Engineering are working with an established specialist equipment business who are looking to recruit an experienced Area Sales Manager to cover Croydon and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who wants to develop existing accounts, win new business and take ownership of a defined territory.

The Role

  • Develop and manage customer relationships across the territory
  • Identify and win new business opportunities
  • Generate sales leads through proactive business development
  • Conduct customer visits and product demonstrations
  • Manage the full sales process from initial enquiry through to completion
  • Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial terms
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipelines
  • Develop existing accounts and maximise sales opportunities

  • Work closely with internal service and engineering teams
  • Achieve agreed sales and revenue targets

About You

  • Previous experience in an Area Sales Manager, Territory Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or similar role
  • Proven track record in B2B sales
  • Strong business development and account management skills
  • Commercially driven with a target-focused approach
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build long-term customer relationships
  • Experience within plant, construction, equipment, machinery, materials handling or a related sector would be advantageous
  • Full UK driving licence
