We're working with a well-established and highly respected plant hire business with a strong UK presence. Known for investing in both their fleet and their engineers, they're continuing to grow and are now looking to add a Workshop Plant Engineer to their Ilford depot.

As a Workshop Plant Engineer, you'll be responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of a wide range of plant equipment within the depot. You'll be working on:

  • Excavators
  • Dumpers
  • Tower lights
  • Powered access equipment
  • General plant machinery

This is a depot-based role, ideal for an engineer who prefers a structured environment with consistent support, tooling and access to parts.

The Candidate

  • Experience working on plant equipment (heavy plant, small plant or powered access)
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • Comfortable working in a workshop environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
