PDI Technician to join their depot in
Mildenhall .
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys preparing brand-new machinery to the highest standard before it reaches the customer.

The Role
As a PDI Technician, you'll be responsible for inspecting, preparing and commissioning new machinery, ensuring it is fully operational and presented to the highest standard before delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new machinery.
- Assemble and prepare new equipment for customer delivery.
- Complete final checks, testing and commissioning.
- Install optional accessories and customer‑specific requirements.
- Diagnose and rectify any faults prior to handover.
- Complete all relevant paperwork and inspection reports.
- Maintain high workshop and health & safety standards.
You will ideally have
- Previous experience as a PDI Technician, Workshop Engineer or Plant Fitter.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with basic electrical fault‑finding skills.
- A proactive attitude and keen eye for detail.
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plant Maintenance, Heavy Vehicle, Agricultural Engineering or similar (desirable).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
