The Molson Group is seeking an experienced Heavy Plant Engineer with a strong background in heavy plant and construction equipment to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled professional to provide on-site maintenance, repairs, and support across a wide range of machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine maintenance, breakdown repairs, and warranty work on plant and construction machinery.
- Perform damage repairs and site visits across various locations in the country.
- Accurately document all work completed and repairs required using the engineer iPad.
- Ensure 100% recovery of machinery under your care.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain and care for company vehicle, reporting any defects promptly.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Adhere to company health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the plant industry.
- NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
- CSCS card holder preferred.
- Proficient in diagnostic tools and computer-based engine diagnostics.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and conscientious approach to work.
- Dealer experience preferred, but not essential.
Education:
- Good general education including English, Maths, and IT.
