We're working with a well-established and growing business within the recycling and waste processing sector, supporting customers across the UK with high-quality equipment and service. Due to continued growth, they are looking to bring in an experienced Field Service Engineer to cover the North West.

The Role

  • Service, maintenance, and repair of recycling equipment including shredders, crushers, screeners, and associated plant machinery
  • Diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems
  • Attend breakdowns and carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Work closely with customers on-site, providing a professional and reliable service
  • Complete job sheets and reports accurately
  • Occasional travel further afield when required

The Candidate

  • Proven experience working on heavy plant, recycling, crushing & screening, or similar equipment
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with good understanding of hydraulics and electrics
  • Experience working in a field-based role
  • Ability to fault find and work independently
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
