This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hire professional who is looking to take ownership of a busy hire desk, manage key customer relationships, and play a senior role within a successful equipment rental operation. The business provides specialist equipment hire solutions to customers across the construction, civil engineering, and infrastructure sectors, supporting projects with a wide range of machinery, attachments, and associated services. The Role:
- Taking ownership of the day-to-day running of the hire desk
- Managing customer accounts from initial enquiry through to off-hire
- Producing quotations, processing orders, and maximising hire opportunities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers
- Coordinating equipment availability, transport, deliveries, and collections
- Liaising with depots, engineers, drivers, and operational teams
- Supporting junior members of the hire desk team
- Monitoring hire performance, utilisation, and customer satisfaction

- Proven experience within plant hire, equipment rental, tool hire, or a similar environment
