Field Generator Engineer

NEOS Engineering Recruitment are working with a well-established and highly respected name in the plant and equipment hire sector, Charles Wilson Engineers Ltd, who are looking to appoint a Field Generator Engineer to support their growing operations across Yorkshire and the surrounding regions. Charles Wilson Engineers operate one of the UK's largest privately owned plant hire fleets and are known for investing heavily in their engineers and equipment.

The Role

As a Field Generator Engineer you will be responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of a wide range of diesel generators and temporary power equipment. The role will involve attending customer sites to diagnose faults, carry out planned servicing and ensure equipment is returned to full working order quickly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, maintenance and repair of diesel generators and associated equipment
  • Fault finding on mechanical and electrical systems
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Attending breakdowns and diagnosing faults on customer sites
