NEOS Engineering are working with a well-established and growing heavy plant dealership that is looking to recruit an experienced
Field Service Engineer to cover the Colchester area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with a great reputation for investing in its engineers, offering excellent overtime, ongoing manufacturer training and genuine long-term career progression.
The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repair of a wide range of heavy construction plant at customer sites throughout Essex and the surrounding areas.
You'll be provided with a fully equipped company van and the autonomy to manage your own workload while receiving excellent support from the service team.
Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair heavy construction plant.
- Diagnose and rectify hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults.
- Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
- Complete breakdown repairs efficiently on customer sites.
- Accurately complete service reports and job sheets.
- Build strong relationships with customers while delivering excellent service.
- Work safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- The Candidate
- We\'re looking for engineers with experience working on equipment such as:
- Excavators
- Wheel Loaders
- Dumpers
- Dozers
- Telehandlers
- Rollers
- Loading Shovels
- Construction Plant
Experience with manufacturers such as CAT, Komatsu, JCB, Volvo CE, Hitachi, Develon, Doosan, Hyundai, Liebherr, SANY, Kubota, Takeuchi or similar would be highly desirable.
