The Company

NEOS Engineering are working with Sunbelt Rentals, a well-established name in the hire sector, looking to bring in a Workshop Engineer to support their Glasgow depot.

The Role

This is a workshop-based position working across a mix of small tools and plant equipment. You'll be involved in servicing, maintenance, and repairs to keep equipment ready for hire.

Equipment includes:

  • Small tools (electrical & mechanical)
  • Excavators (1.5–13 tonne)
  • Dumpers
  • Telehandlers
  • Bowsers

You don't need experience across everything — training will be provided. The aim is to develop multi-skilled fitters across the workshop.

The Candidate

  • Background in plant, tools, or mechanical engineering
  • Open to learning and developing new skills
  • Hands-on and reliable
  • Comfortable working in a workshop environment
