NEOS Engineering Recruitment are working with a national business within the plant hire sector, known for its reliable equipment, strong customer base and commitment to engineering excellence. Due to increased demand, they are now looking for a Mobile Plant Technician to cover the Exeter area.
The Role
This role will involve travelling to customer sites to carry out service, maintenance and repair work on a wide range of plant hire machinery. Key responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and repairing faults on plant equipment
- Servicing machinery including excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers, tower lights and trailers
- Carrying out preventative maintenance and inspections
- Responding to breakdowns and minimising downtime
- Completing job reports and maintaining accurate records
- Providing excellent customer service on-site
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Plant Engineer, Plant Fitter or similar
- Strong understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems
