NEOS Engineering are seeking a skilled and dedicated Home-based Field Service Engineer to join our clients dynamic team to cover the South West area to work with ADT (Articulated Dump Trucks). The ideal Field Service Engineer candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and service to their clients on-site. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently while ensuring customer satisfaction. The Field Service Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the performance of our products in the field.
Responsibilities
- Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repair of equipment at customer locations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs, installations, and customer interactions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while working on-site.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer within Construction and Plant or similar role within the industry.
- Ideally a NVQ Level 2 or NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while prioritising tasks.
- Willingness to travel frequently for onsite visits as required by the role.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to fieldwork is advantageous.
