Location: Bristol
Salary: £37,000 – £38,000 (£45,000+ with overtime) + Twice Yearly Bonus

a leading plant and tool hire company, who are expanding their Bristol depot. They are seeking a skilled Workshop Fitter to join the team, working on a broad range of equipment and playing a key role in the depot\’s growth.

The Role

• Servicing, fault-finding, and repairing a wide range of equipment including generators, compressors, hand tools, and 2-stroke petrol/diesel-powered kit

• Workshop-based role, Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:00 (45 hours per week including break)

• Ensuring equipment is maintained to a high standard of safety and reliability

• Working closely with a small team, supporting the depot\’s expansion plans

The Candidate

• Previous experience working on generators, compressors, and small plant/tools is highly desirable

• Strong mechanical background with knowledge of both petrol and diesel equipment

• Ability to work independently in a small team environment

• Reliable, proactive, and committed to maintaining high standards of service

The Benefits

• Salary: £37,000 – £38,000 (£45,000+ with overtime)

• Overtime: 1.5x after 45 hours and double time at weekends

• Leave: 27 days annual leave + all bank holidays + your birthday off + option to buy 5 extra days
