NEOS Engineering are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Heavy Plant Fitter to join our client's busy and growing team. Based in our client's well-equipped workshop, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of a wide range of heavy plant machinery including excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers, and more. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on and technically skilled individual who takes pride in their work and thrives in a workshop-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out routine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of heavy plant equipment
  • Fault-finding and problem-solving using diagnostic tools and manuals
  • Conducting inspections in line with LOLER and PUWER regulations
  • Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard, safely and efficiently
  • Liaising with parts suppliers and maintaining accurate records of work carried out
  • Supporting the workshop supervisor and contributing to a clean and organised working environment

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Plant Fitter or similar role within heavy plant, construction, or agricultural equipment
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical knowledge
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering or similar (or equivalent experience)
  • Valid CSCS, NPORS, or relevant tickets desirable but not essential
  • A proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude
  • Full UK Driving Licence
