A well-established and busy workshop is looking for a skilled and motivated Workshop Plant Fitter to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a variety of heavy plant machinery in a hands-on and technically engaging role.

Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of plant machinery (including Hitachi equipment)
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Carry out safety inspections and ensure equipment is operating effectively and legally
- Replace or repair faulty components and systems as required
- Keep clear service records and ensure workshop standards are maintained
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to meet service deadlines
- NVQ or equivalent qualification in Plant Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering
- Sound mechanical knowledge, with diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Understanding of hydraulic, diesel and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with Hitachi machinery is a bonus, but not essential
- Strong attitude toward health & safety and quality of work
- Competitive basic salary up to £40,000, dependent on experience
- Regular hours (Monday–Friday), with potential overtime available
