The Role
As a Plant Fitter / Heavy Plant Engineer, you\’ll become a crucial part of the maintenance team, responsible for the repair and upkeep of both mobile and fixed recycling plant machinery. You\’ll be working hands-on across a variety of equipment in a fast-paced, outdoor environment, contributing to smooth operational performance and compliance with safety regulations.
Key responsibilities include:

Servicing and repairing mobile and fixed plant equipment, including engines, hydraulics, and pneumatics

Welding and basic fabrication work

Diagnosing faults and fitting correct parts

Maintaining crushers, bailers, conveyor systems, and other recycling machinery

Conducting service inspections and maintaining service records

Managing your own workload in line with maintenance schedules

Complying with all Health & Safety policies
