We're working with a well-established and growing business within the recycling and waste processing sector, supporting customers across the UK with high-quality equipment and service. Due to continued growth, they are looking to bring in an experienced Field Service Engineer to cover the South West.
The Role
- Service, maintenance, and repair of recycling equipment including shredders, crushers, screeners, and associated plant machinery
- Diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems
- Attend breakdowns and carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Work closely with customers on-site, providing a professional and reliable service
- Complete job sheets and reports accurately
- Occasional travel further afield when required
The Candidate
- Proven experience working on heavy plant, recycling, crushing & screening, or similar equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge with good understanding of hydraulics and electrics
- Experience working in a field-based role
- Ability to fault find and work independently
- Full UK driving licence
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
