Job Description Mobile Plant / Pump Engineer \n Location: Birmingham Salary: £38,000 - £41,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent The Opportunity \n We're urgently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Plant Engineer to join a growing engineering team covering the Birmingham area. \The Role \n As a Mobile Plant Engineer, you'll be responsible for: \n \n \n Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of mobile plant. \n \n Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults . \n \n Completing inspections and planned maintenance to minimise equipment downtime. \n \n Liaising with customers and providing professional technical support on site. \n About You \n We're looking for an experienced engineer with: \n \n \n Previous experience as a Mobile Plant Engineer, Plant Fitter, Field Service Engineer or similar . \n \n Strong mechanical engineering and fault-finding skills. \n \n Electrical and diagnostic experience would be advantageous. \n \n Full UK driving licence. \n \n Experience with dewatering pumps, diesel-driven pumps, submersible pumps, water pumps or associated pumping systems would be particularly beneficial. n \n \n £38,000 - £41,000 basic salary \n \n Permanent position with a growing engineering business \n \n Mobile role covering the Birmingham area \n \n Opportunity to work on a varied range of plant and pumping equipment \n \n Ongoing training and development \n \n Supportive engineering team \n \n Opportunity for overtime and additional earnings \n Interested? \n If you're a Mobile Plant Engineer with strong mechanical experience — particularly if you've got extensive pump experience — we'd like to hear from you. \
