We are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer covering Manchester and the wider North West region. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanical engineer to join a growing business specialising in the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of industrial equipment across a varied customer base.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance, fault finding, breakdown response and repair work on customer sites, ensuring equipment remains safe, reliable and operational. This role would suit somebody from a field service, industrial maintenance, pumps, motors, generators, rotating equipment or mechanical maintenance background who enjoys problem-solving and working independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend customer sites to carry out servicing, maintenance and repair work.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out effective repairs.
  • Complete preventative maintenance inspections and planned service visits.
  • Install, commission and test equipment.
  • Produce accurate service reports and maintenance records.
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company and site health & safety procedures.
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment.
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Participate in an on-call rota when required.
