We are currently recruiting for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team based in Preston. This role offers a consistent shift pattern, competitive hourly rate, and long-term stability within a well-established operation.
Key Responsibilities:- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on plant, machinery, and equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
- Performing routine inspections to ensure equipment reliability and uptime
- Supporting breakdown response and fault resolution
- Completing maintenance records and documentation accurately
- Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety standards
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or in a similar engineering role
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Methodical approach with strong attention to detail
- Relevant engineering qualifications preferred
