Neos Engineering are partnered with a leading demolition and heavy equipment contractor who operate across a range of workshop and site-based environments. Due to continued growth and a busy project pipeline, they're looking to appoint a skilled and motivated Plant Fitter to join their team.
The Role
As a Plant Fitter, you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a broad range of heavy plant machinery both in-house and on various demolition sites. You'll carry out fault diagnosis, welding/fabrication, and ensure all work meets strict safety standards. This is a varied, hands-on role offering a mix of workshop and on-site work.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and repairing faults on a variety of plant equipment including excavators, dumpers, and other heavy machinery
- Performing routine maintenance and scheduled servicing
- Welding and fabricating components when required
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety procedures
- Managing your own workload effectively while supporting a team-based environment
The Candidate
You'll have proven experience as a Plant Fitter and bring a strong mechanical skill set with the ability to problem-solve under pressure. A plant operating licence is desirable but not essential.
