NEOS Engineering are recruiting for an established construction machinery business looking to add an experienced Workshop Engineer to their engineering team based in the Norfolk / Mildenhall area. This is a hands-on workshop role working on a modern fleet of excavators, telehandlers, rollers and associated construction plant.
The Role
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on construction plant.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance and inspections.
- Prepare machinery for hire and customer delivery.
- Carry out breakdown repairs and fault finding as required.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Ensure all machinery is maintained to a high standard.
- Work closely with the wider engineering and operations teams.
About You
- We're looking for an experienced Workshop Engineer / Plant Fitter with a strong background working on construction machinery.
- Previous experience working on heavy plant or construction equipment.
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Experience with excavators, telehandlers, rollers or similar machinery.
- Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop environment.
- Relevant plant engineering qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Good attention to detail and a strong approach to health & safety.
Package
- £18.00 – £21.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Overtime available.
- Ongoing training and development.
