We are seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join our engineering team, supporting customers across the region with high-quality maintenance, repair, and diagnostics on a wide range of construction and plant machinery. This role offers excellent earning potential, overtime opportunities, and long-term career stability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out planned maintenance, servicing, and inspections on plant and construction equipment (excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers, small tools, etc.).
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical faults.
  • Respond to breakdowns and perform on-site repairs across customer locations.
  • Complete accurate service reports, timesheets, and job documentation.
  • Work safely and in line with company, manufacturer, and HSE standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service while representing the company on-site.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, Mobile Engineer, Heavy Plant Technician, or similar.
  • Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge; electrical experience desirable.
  • Ability to use diagnostic equipment and technical manuals.
  • Full UK driving licence (company van provided).
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently.
