The Role
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair HGVs, trailers, and associated equipment.
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and component replacements.
- Conduct MOT preparation, brake testing, and roadworthiness checks.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults.
- Complete accurate service documentation and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment at all times.
- Work a 4 on / 4 off rotating shift pattern (days and nights – 12 hours).
The Candidate
- Time-served or NVQ Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician, Fitter, or Mechanic.
- Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and fault-finding abilities.
- Committed to maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
- Able to work independently or as part of a professional team.
- Full UK Driving Licence (HGV Class 1 or 2 beneficial but not essential).
