NEOS Engineering are currently working with a well-established and highly respected plant hire organisation that is looking to bring an experienced Powered Access Equipment Engineer into their growing team. The Role
As an Access Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of powered access machinery within a workshop and field-based environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out routine servicing and inspections on access platforms and lifting equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Completing breakdown repairs both in workshop and on-site when required
- Maintaining detailed service records and job reports
- Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
- Supporting LOLER/PUWER inspection preparation where required
The Candidate
We are looking for a skilled and motivated engineer who takes pride in their work. Ideal background:
- Proven experience as an Access Equipment Engineer, Plant Fitter, or similar
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and diesel engines
- Experience working on MEWPs, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and cherry pickers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- IPAF or relevant access qualifications (desirable)
