NEOS Engineering are currently working with a well-established and highly respected plant hire organisation that is looking to bring an experienced Plant Fitter into their growing team. The Role
As a Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of heavy plant equipment. This role is predominantly field service with occasional workshop duties if required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out routine servicing and inspections on plant machinery
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Maintaining detailed service records and job reports
- Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
- Supporting breakdown response when required
The Candidate
We are looking for a skilled and motivated engineer who takes pride in their work.
Ideal background:
- Proven experience as a Plant Fitter, Plant Engineer, or similar
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and diesel engines
- Experience working on equipment such as excavators, dumpers, rollers, and telehandlers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence (preferred/required depending on role)
