We are looking to recruit 2 Electrical & Mechanical Engineers to join their established engineering team based in Ipswich. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Pump Engineer, Motor Engineer or Electro-Mechanical Engineer looking for a varied role combining workshop repairs with site-based engineering work.
Working as part of a close-knit engineering team, you'll split your time approximately 50% workshop / 50% field-based, carrying out repairs, overhauls, servicing, fault finding and installations on industrial electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Stripping, inspecting and assessing electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, fan units and rotating equipment
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
- Carrying out repairs, overhauls and rebuilds
- Testing equipment before dispatch
- Attending customer sites to remove, install, service and recommission equipment
- Producing repair reports and supporting quotations
- Participating in an on-call rota for emergency breakdowns
- Working safely both in the workshop and on customer sites

Requirements:
- Previous experience within an electrical and mechanical engineering role
- Strong fault finding and repair skills
- Experience working on industrial electrical and/or mechanical equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence
Salary & Benefits:
- £33,000 - £36,000 depending on experience
- Excellent overtime available
- Weekend and emergency call-outs paid at double time and triple time
- Company van provided for work travel
- All travel, accommodation and expenses paid when working away
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
