High Voltage SAP

Manchester
£70,000 to £95,000 + Benefits

We are working with a leading power engineering contractor in the North West, specialising in HV and LV distribution networks. They deliver installation of new networks, fault finding, repair, and maintenance of existing infrastructure for major projects.

Were looking for an experienced High Voltage Senior Authorised Person (SAP) who is DNO trained and holds a valid ENW authorisation

Responsibilities

  • Carry out HV switching, isolation, and earthing in line with DNO procedures
  • Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of HV/LV distribution systems
  • Fault finding and diagnostics on electrical networks
  • Prepare safety documents, switching schedules, and permits
  • Supervise site teams to ensure work is delivered safely and on time
  • Liaise with engineers, project managers, and DNO representatives

Requirements

  • Valid ENW SAP authorisation (essential)
  • DNO-trained with proven HV/LV distribution network experience
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety and operational procedures
  • Ability to lead operational teams on site
