NEOS Engineering are currently working with a well-established and highly respected heavy plant business who are looking to recruit an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their growing team covering the West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working on a wide variety of heavy plant machinery, with plenty of overtime available, excellent support and genuine long-term career prospects.
The Role
- Service, maintenance and repair of heavy plant and construction machinery
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults
- Carry out routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance
- Attend customer breakdowns across the West Midlands
- Complete job sheets and service reports accurately
- Deliver first-class customer service while representing the business on site
- Manage your own workload and territory efficiently
The Candidate
- Previous experience working as a Heavy Plant, Construction Equipment or Agricultural Engineer
- Strong diagnostic skills across hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience working on excavators, dumpers, loading shovels, telehandlers or similar equipment
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent) is desirable
- Full UK Driving Licence
- A positive attitude with excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
