NEOS Engineering are currently working with a growing and well-respected machinery dealer who are looking to appoint an experienced Service Manager to lead their aftersales and engineering function. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven Service Manager who understands heavy plant machinery and thrives in a fast-paced operational environment.

The Role

  • Overseeing the full service operation including workshop and field engineers.
  • Managing and developing a team of service engineers.
  • Overseeing workshop and field service scheduling.
  • Ensuring high levels of customer service and SLA delivery.
  • Driving service revenue, profitability and utilisation.
  • Managing warranty processes and technical support.
  • Maintaining high standards of health & safety and compliance.
  • Working closely with parts and sales departments to ensure seamless customer support.

The Candidate

  • Has strong experience within heavy plant / construction machinery.
  • Has previously managed workshop and/or field service teams.
  • Is commercially aware and understands service P&L performance.
  • Has strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • Is confident dealing with customers and resolving technical issues.
  • Comes from a mechanical and/or electrical engineering background.
