NEOS Engineering are currently working with a growing and well-respected machinery dealer who are looking to appoint an experienced Service Manager to lead their aftersales and engineering function. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven Service Manager who understands heavy plant machinery and thrives in a fast-paced operational environment.
The Role
- Overseeing the full service operation including workshop and field engineers.
- Managing and developing a team of service engineers.
- Overseeing workshop and field service scheduling.
- Ensuring high levels of customer service and SLA delivery.
- Driving service revenue, profitability and utilisation.
- Managing warranty processes and technical support.
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety and compliance.
- Working closely with parts and sales departments to ensure seamless customer support.
The Candidate
- Has strong experience within heavy plant / construction machinery.
- Has previously managed workshop and/or field service teams.
- Is commercially aware and understands service P&L performance.
- Has strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Is confident dealing with customers and resolving technical issues.
- Comes from a mechanical and/or electrical engineering background.
