NEOS Engineering are recruiting for an experienced Field Service Engineer to cover Grantham and the surrounding areas for an established specialist equipment business. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working independently, visiting customer sites and solving technical problems in the field.
The Role
- Responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of specialist equipment at customer locations, helping to minimise downtime and keep machinery operating efficiently.
- Attend customer sites to carry out servicing and repairs.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance.
- Carry out inspections and safety checks.
- Complete service reports and maintenance records.
- Provide professional technical support.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Plant Engineer or similar.
- Strong mechanical engineering knowledge.
- Electrical/diagnostic experience.
- Experience working on plant, construction, agricultural or specialist equipment.
- Full UK driving licence.
