NEOS Engineering are currently working with a well-established and highly respected plant hire organisation that is looking to bring an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter into their growing team. The Role
As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of heavy plant equipment, attending customer sites and carrying out repairs in the field. Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and inspections on plant machinery
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults on-site
- Responding to breakdowns and completing field-based repairs
- Maintaining accurate service and job records
- Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
- Providing a professional customer-facing service
The Candidate
We are looking for a skilled and motivated engineer who takes pride in their work. Ideal background:
- Proven experience as a Mobile Plant Fitter, Field Service Engineer, or similar
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and diesel engines
- Experience working on equipment such as excavators, dumpers, rollers, and telehandlers
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Full UK driving licence required
