Location: South Coast (Hampshire)

NEOS Engineering is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Generator Engineer to join their expanding team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a variety of sites maintaining, servicing, and repairing generators up to 2000kVA, ensuring reliable and efficient power supply for critical operations.
Key Responsibilities

Service, maintain, and repair diesel generators up to 2000kVA

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system faults

Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs

Commission and decommission generator systems

Perform load bank testing and equipment performance checks

Complete accurate service reports and documentation

Ensure full compliance with health and safety procedures

Provide technical advice and professional support to clients on-site
Requirements
-
Proven experience with diesel generators up to 2000kVA

Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills

Knowledge of engine control systems and generator management

Familiarity with major engine brands (Perkins, Cummins, MTU, Volvo) is advantageous

Full UK driving licence

Excellent communication and customer service skills
