The Molson Group is seeking an experienced Heavy Plant Engineer with a strong background in heavy plant and construction equipment to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled professional to provide on-site maintenance, repairs, and support across a wide range of machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance, breakdown repairs, and warranty work on plant and construction machinery.
  • Perform damage repairs and site visits across various locations in the country.
  • Accurately document all work completed and repairs required using the engineer iPad.
  • Ensure 100% recovery of machinery under your care.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and care for company vehicle, reporting any defects promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Adhere to company health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the plant industry.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
  • CSCS card holder preferred.
  • Proficient in diagnostic tools and computer-based engine diagnostics.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and conscientious approach to work.
  • Dealer experience preferred, but not essential.

Education:

  • Good general education including English, Maths, and IT.
