NEOS Engineering are recruiting on behalf of a large-scale construction rental business for a JIB Approved Electrician (preferred) - the client are also open to assisting candidates that are close to achieving their JIB Gold Card.
The Role
This role is responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of temporary electrical systems supporting modular buildings and welfare units on construction sites. You'll be working on live projects, delivering safe, compliant temporary power solutions to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Install electrical systems within temporary modular buildings and welfare units
- Carry out testing, inspection and commissioning of electrical installations
- Connect and configure LV distribution, temporary power supplies and generators
- Work from electrical drawings, layouts and specifications
- Ensure all works comply with BS7671, H&S regulations and site procedures
- Complete electrical test sheets, certification and commissioning documentation
- Fault finding and rectification during install and post-handover
- Liaise with site teams, supervisors and engineers to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping on site
The Ideal Candidate
- Fully qualified JIB Approved Electrician
- Experience working on construction sites or temporary site services
- Background installing electrics within modular units, welfare cabins or site compounds
- Confident with testing, inspection and commissioning
- Comfortable working across multiple sites in the Bristol region
- Professional, reliable and safety-focused

- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
- ECS / CSCS Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
