NEOS Engineering is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Workshop Crusher/Screener/Shredder Engineer to join a busy and growing team at their Avonmouth depot. The successful candidate will carry out maintenance, repairs, and servicing on a range of plant and machinery including crushers, screeners, and other recycling and waste equipment. This is a hands-on, team-oriented role where high standards of health & safety, equipment preparation, and reporting are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance and repair work on crushers, screeners, shredders, and other machinery to the highest professional standards.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure targets and deadlines are met.
  • Maintain and demonstrate a strong focus on health & safety at all times.
  • Prepare equipment to the highest operational standards for use in the field.
  • Complete detailed job reporting, documenting work carried out and any further repairs required.
  • Complete online job sheets using the company's in-house systems.

Work Experience Requirements

  • Strong background in crushing, screening, or shredding equipment essential.
  • CSCS card holder preferred.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-changing environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and conscientious approach to work.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education Requirements

  • Good general education including English, Maths, and IT.

Additional Information

Manufacturer training will be provided when available. Full-time role based at Avonmouth, Bristol.
