We are currently recruiting for a skilled Workshop Forklift Engineer to join our team at our Preston workshop. This role offers a consistent shift pattern and competitive hourly rate within a stable working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing forklift trucks within a workshop setting
- Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Completing job reports and documentation accurately
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Engineer or similar plant/mechanical role
- Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently within a workshop environment
- A methodical approach with strong attention to detail
- Relevant engineering qualifications preferred
