NEOS Engineering are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing quarrying and aggregates equipment specialist. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Field Service Engineer to join their field-based engineering team, supporting Crushers & Screeners across quarry environments.
About the Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance, and repair of Crushers & Screeners at quarry and aggregate sites. This is a hands-on, autonomous role requiring strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding skills, with a focus on minimising downtime and maintaining safe, reliable operations in demanding environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on Crushers & Screeners at quarry sites
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Complete planned maintenance in line with manufacturer schedules and company standards
- Respond to breakdowns and emergency call-outs when required
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site and company H&S procedures
- Accurately complete job reports and service documentation
- Communicate effectively with site personnel, management, and customers
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience working on Crushers & Screeners within a quarry or aggregates environment
- Strong mechanical background with solid hydraulic fault-finding experience
- Electrical fault-finding experience advantageous
- Ability to work independently in a field service role
- Full UK driving licence
- Self-motivated, reliable, and professional approach
