Salary: Up to £21.50 per hour DOE + Overtime + Benefits NEOS Engineering are recruiting for a Heavy Plant Fitter to join one of the UK's fastest-growing construction equipment OEMs based out of Sittingbourne, Kent .

The Role As a Heavy Plant Fitter , you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of construction plant equipment, ensuring machines are returned to customers operating safely and efficiently.

You'll diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities Service, maintain and repair heavy construction plant equipment.

Diagnose and fault-find mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues.

Carry out routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance.

Complete major component replacements and machine repairs.

Accurately complete job cards and service documentation.

Work closely with the parts and service teams to ensure efficient turnaround times.

Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer standards.

Maintain high health and safety standards at all times.

The Ideal Candidate Previous experience as a Heavy Plant Fitter , Plant Mechanic, Plant Engineer, Construction Plant Engineer, Workshop Fitter or Field Service Engineer.

Strong diagnostic skills across hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.

Experience working on construction plant such as excavators, wheel loaders, dumpers, dozers, telehandlers or similar heavy equipment.

NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plant Maintenance, Land-Based Engineering or a related mechanical qualification is desirable.

Full UK driving licence.

A positive attitude with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
