The Role
You will be a vital part of a busy workshop team, responsible for diagnosing, inspecting, and repairing a wide range of plant machinery and electrical accessories. Your focus will be on ensuring all equipment meets health and safety standards including LOLER and PUWER, delivering quality repairs and maintenance to keep plant equipment operating efficiently and safely. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to the company's “right first time” service ethos.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will hold or be working towards an NVQ2 in Plant Maintenance or Auto Electrics, or have an equivalent qualification. Experience in plant electrics and maintenance is essential. You must be reliable, flexible, and self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. A willingness to learn and grow within the business is important, as is honesty and respect towards colleagues and customers. Tooling for the role is required.
