NEOS Engineering Recruitment are working with a well-established electrical engineering business that is continuing to grow across the UK. Due to an increasing project portfolio, they are looking to appoint a Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of HV and LV electrical projects across a diverse range of industries. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager looking to join a supportive team where you'll have genuine autonomy, long-term progression and the chance to work on high-profile projects for some of the UK's leading organisations.

The Role

  • You'll be responsible for managing electrical projects from initial planning through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
  • Initially, your focus will be on project delivery, planning and client management, with the opportunity to become involved in project quotations and estimating as your experience within the business develops.
  • Projects include:
    • HV/LV substation installations
    • High Voltage maintenance works
    • Low Voltage electrical installations
    • Electrical infrastructure upgrades
    • Renewable energy and industrial electrical projects
  • You'll typically manage multiple contracts for key clients, building strong long-term relationships whilst ensuring projects run efficiently from start to finish.

  • Rail and transport infrastructure

  • Solar energy installations
  • Industrial and commercial facilities across the UK

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple HV & LV electrical projects simultaneously
  • Plan works, programmes and resource requirements
  • Produce and compile O&M manuals and project documentation
  • Attend client meetings and maintain excellent customer relationships
  • Carry out site surveys and oversee project delivery
  • Manage subcontractors and internal engineering teams
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
  • Support commercial activities including quotations and project costing as experience develops

The Candidate

  • We're open to speaking with experienced Electrical Project Managers from a range of backgrounds.
  • Previous HV experience is advantageous but not essential—our client has an experienced team who can provide support and training where required.
  • You'll ideally have:
    • Previous experience managing electrical installation projects
    • Strong understanding of LV electrical systems
    • Experience coordinating engineers, subcontractors and clients
    • Excellent planning and organisational skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Full UK Driving Licence
