NEOS Engineering are working with a growing and well-established heavy plant dealership looking to appoint an Area Sales Manager to cover East Anglia and the surrounding regions. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional to join a business representing a strong range of heavy plant machinery.

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling a range of heavy plant machinery including excavators, wheel loaders, telehandlers, dumpers and other construction equipment across your designated territory. Responsibilities include:

  • Selling new and used heavy plant machinery
  • Developing new business opportunities across the region
  • Managing and growing existing customer accounts
  • Conducting customer visits, site surveys and machine demonstrations
  • Producing quotations and negotiating deals
  • Achieving sales targets and business objectives
  • Identifying opportunities within construction, quarrying, recycling, agriculture and plant hire sectors
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activity
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and sales forecasts

We're looking for an ambitious and motivated sales professional with experience selling heavy plant, construction equipment, agricultural machinery, material handling equipment or similar capital equipment. You may currently be working as a:

  • Area Sales Manager
  • Territory Sales Manager
  • Business Development Manager
  • Plant Sales Executive
  • Construction Equipment Sales Manager
  • Technical Sales Engineer

Requirements:

  • Proven experience selling heavy plant machinery or related equipment
  • Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own territory
  • Commercially driven with a track record of winning business
  • Full UK Driving Licence

The Package:

  • £40,000 - £45,000 Basic Salary
