Overview
You will play a key role in managing Neos Networks’ property and site-related obligations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and cost control across site sharing, land consent, utilities, insurance, and regulatory payments. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain smooth operations and resolve issues promptly.
Responsibilities
- Access Coordination & Site Supervision: Handle access requests from supplier partners who regularly seek access to our sites for maintenance of their equipment. This will involve negotiating dates between several internal departments.
- Financial & Legal Administration: Raise purchase orders and manual payment requests for land consent activities, including planning permissions, wayleaves, servitudes, easements, and licences to occupy. Manage utility payments for approx. 50 sites and resolve related queries. Ensure timely payment of Fibre Tax, business rates, and licence fees. Support finance with budget queries relating to these payments.
- Regulatory & Compliance: Administer OFCOM-related queries for radio frequency licences and manage associated payments. Manage fibre damage liability recovery processes with third parties.
- Site Sharing & Land Consent: Process site sharing applications with site owners when Neos adds or removes telecommunications equipment from sites. Manage a significant Supplier Partner agreement, which involves 118 sites, reviewing site lists to capture changes in equipment and adjust annual costs. Liaise with our Land Consent Managers to address ad-hoc site issues (e.g., property damage, leaks). Monitor and manage the Legal and Land Consent inboxes, distributing queries to ensure timely responses.
What do I need?: Experience in managing budgets, raising POs, and handling high-value payments. Understanding of property management, land consent processes, and telecom site operations is desirable but not essential. Excellent communication and negotiation skills for liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks under commercial and operational pressure. Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with financial systems.
