We\’re looking for a high‑calibre Senior Relationship Manager with an awesome boutique lender to support high‑growth and start‑up businesses in the South West. This is a unique player‑coach role sitting in the pocket of day‑to‑day lending activities, as well as leading a team of calibre Relationship Managers across the region.

Responsibilities

• Build out your own portfolio of regional businesses and advise on their funding needs
• Act as point person to Senior Leadership Team (SLT) on pipeline monitoring
• Analyse clients\’ business plans and loan appraisals, and provide strategic recommendations to clients
• Cultivate strong relationships with intermediaries in the region and network accordingly
• Work closely with the Portfolio Manager and Investment Committee on presenting high‑quality opportunities

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of SME/corporate lending experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects and clients
• A collaborative team player with ability to manage their own calendar
• Experience of team leadership or direct line management
